Your Influences:
------------
My brother (Rod MacDonald) was extremely influential in my start to rugby. He has been very supportive of my rugby career and made me believe in myself.
My Father who taught me that persistence and hard work always pays off. Words of encouragement: "keep your eye on the ball"
Araba Chintoh who I am very blessed to call a friend and former team mate. I have always looked up to "Roo" as she is an exceptional person and player.
Warren Rosenberg (former coach) taught me correct body positioning at the point of contact and how to properly ruck and maul

Most memorable rugby game(s)/experience(s)/memories:
----------------------------------------------
First Cap June 2004 Thunderbird Stadium Canada V New Zealand Black Ferns
The pride of singing the National Anthem for every Cap

How did rugby effect/influence your life:
----------------------------------
Rugby Has made me the person I am today. It has given me the confidence to succeed, discipline and work ethic and the wisdom to not take life so seriously. I compare everything from work to child rearing to Rugby.
Rugby has also allowed me to travel, have friends all over the world. All of my best friends are rugby players. There is a special bond that comes with this game we love.

Current involvement in rugby:
------------------------
Board of Directors with Rugby Canada as the Female Players representative. Sideline enthusiast.

What are you doing now (residence, work, family etc):
--------------------------------------------
I am currently living in Halifax Nova Scotia with my incredible husband (Matthew) and 4 beautiful children (ages 3.5, 2 and baby twin boys). I have a career in Real Estate which I am extremely passionate about and enjoy immensely. In my spare time I love to practice Yoga (which I should have been doing while I was playing)

Input/suggestions for Canadian rugby and or young players:
---------------------------------------------------
Have Fun! Lot's of it. Take care of your body and give back to the sport.
