Thanks to all the Howlers (Tim Young, Gren Tomas, Karl Fix, David Poettcker, Dave Arsenault , Andrew Petti, Glen Corbett , Michael Okech and the club itself) who have been so generous to date in helping this young injured rugby player out. Keep it up . Every little bit helps.

On October 5th 2013, Judah Campbell broke his C4 - C5 vertebrae while playing rugby for the Kelowna Crows Rugby ClubNot only is Judah and excellent rugby player, he is an inspiration to everyone in his life. The Judah Campbell fund will raise money to help offset the medical costs in the treatment and rehabilitation for Judah, the loss of income for Alex and his family in the care of Judah, and to offset future costs for Judah given his current state of paralysis and adjustment to life outside the hospital.

Huggy (Kerry Singh) Receives New Specially Equipped Van

11/11/2013

Thank you to the Howlers for your generous support and helping me to achieve my dream!
Cheers!
Huggy
------------------------------------
Better known to former teammates and friends as Huggy (Kerry Singh), was a member of the Balmy Beach RFC of Toronto in 1993 when he suffered a spinal cord injury while playing rugby. The injury resulted in quadriplegia and in 1994 the Balmy Beach Rugby Club, friends and family helped Huggy raise money to purchase a van that could be modified for him to drive. This helped him improve his quality of life and allowed him to enjoy his independence of mobility, but the van was over 15 years old was in need need of being replaced. A joint fundraising endeavour between BalMy Beach RFC, Rugby Canada and the Howlers raised some $60,000 which bought Huggy his much needed van. Thanks to everyone who contributed to make Huggy;s dream come true - IT'S MORE THAN A GAME, IT;S A WAY OF LIFE.
