The U-16 Dog River Howlers RFC  will compete in the SAS Institute Heidelberg (Germany) Junior International Sevens on June 23 and 24. Also competing are 4 European national teams (Belgium, Netherlands, Czech Republic and Switzerland) and regional select sides from France, England and Germany. This will be the first time that a Canadian select 7's U-16 side will compete internationally .

The players will not only have a exiting rugby experience but also an amazing cultural experience as they will also take in some of the sights of this historic city and area. Our hope is that this will be an motivating step for this young up and coming players  as they set their sights on playing for Canada and in turn competing in the Olympic Games.
